In this time of the fall out
It's almost impossible to be a priest. Take Doña Justa she is a mutant but under God she is a blessed being. She too was blessed and baptized with the waters of God. But I have a hard time looking up at her. She is very tall and well built. Father Juan is very frightened by her. He does not like running into her while she sells her bread at the corner of the abbey. It has been rumored that her other head sneers even though she tries to cover it. Father Juan baptized her Yet, he was extremely hesitant. He was not sure she was worthy of the sacrament. Because her other head sneered in the presence of God's chosen representatives. And well, you see no one was sure Doña Justa was worthy of God's anointing. And as I've said her other head sure caused a commotion at the baptism when the cold water touched her forehead. The other head sneered and twisted almost knocked Doña Justa down to the ground. She quickly covered it again. Reassured father Juan that she was worthy of the blessed sacrament. The other day father Juan and I ran into her at the corner of the abbey. She was selling big red juicy tomatoes. "Father, please father buy my last tomatoes." "It's okay now Father, I am baptized just like you." "Please buy my tomatoes, the last of my tomatoes. It's okay God says it's okay." The hood fell off the other head. Shivers ran up my spine. Father Juan fended her off. Him looking towards me, "Had it not been for the abbot I would not have baptized her, she is evil," said father Juan. I looked behind us. She was covering her other head that was spastically sneering at us. Maybe father Juan is right. |
